Douglas DC-2 Bronze plane on marble. The first DC-2, the PH-AJU Uiver, became world famous for winning the first prize in the London-Melbourne air race in October 1934. These aircraft were the backbone of the Soviet Air Force at the start of the Second World War. In addition, the aircraft was also used in the Spanish Civil War and the Battle of Halhin Gol.

Hungarian model of the Fecske Windglider. Handmade model of metal, presumably aluminum. Hand painted. Glider stands on a brass bracket with an aluminum base. Type designation: EV.1.K. Name: Fecske. Designer: Young designers from the PGE. In 1964, a group of young engineers from the factory’s design office decided to create a performance glider that would surpass all previous Hungarian gliders. The design was started in 1965. The factory accepted the design and the team, which began operating in early 1967. The glider first flew on September 18, 1969. After the flight tests were completed, the Hungarian Glider Team began getting the glider for operational tests. In October 1970, the glider’s wings were cut off in flight due to a serious pilot error. The glider was destroyed and the pilot lost his life. No example has been built anymore.

Bell P-39 Airacobra 1941. The Bell P-39 Airacobra was one of the most important American fighters in service when the United States entered World War II. The P-39 was used by the Soviet Air Force and enabled individual Soviet pilots to collect the highest number of “kills” attributed to an American fighter flown by a pilot in conflict. Other significant users of this type included the Free French, Royal Air Force, United States Air Force, and Italian Co-warring Air Force. Designed by Bell Aircraft, it had an innovative layout, with the engine installed in the center of the fuselage behind the pilot. The propeller was driven by a long tractor shaft. It was also the first hunter to be equipped with a tricycle undercarriage. Doors can open and the propeller and wheels can turn. The wheels are strong and the plane can stand without a stand. Entirely made of metal by hand! Propeller is also metal and mounted on brass shaft with brass nut.

Very rare model plane of the Soviet Kalinin airplane. The first passenger airplane of Russia. Handmade. Model is built of wood with metal parts and stands on a plexiglass asymmetrical base. Model can be removed from the pedestal, the propeller can rotate. 2 exhaust pipes that protrude just above the windscreens. Beautiful! On the pedestal is a brass plate with text. Model has minor damage, see photos. I expect a model that you will never encounter again. The Kalinin K-2 was a Soviet aircraft designed and built by the designer Konstantin Kalinin. The aircraft was a variant of the predecessor K-1 with a more powerful engine and all-metal construction. The total weight of the structure significantly exceeded that of the planning. F.F. 1925, the first commercial flight took place in 1926. Only four were built.

Like a number of other Luftwaffe bombers, it served as a bomber, dive bomber, night fighter, torpedo bomber, reconnaissance plane, heavy fighter and at the end of the war as a flying bomb.

Soviet Tank with Fighter Jet. 2 icons from the Soviet Union era.The T-34, the backbone of the army from the WWII and the Mig-15, the shock of every American pilot during the Korea war.“MiG Alley” was the name given by United Nations pilots to the northwestern part of North Korea, where the Yalu River flows into the Yellow Sea during the Korean War.The T-34 was a medium duty tank deployed by the Red Army during World War II.During the war, it was the most produced tank in the world. It is an aluminum MIG-15 aircraft that is mounted with a steel bracket on a red marble base with a bronze/brass T-34 tank. It is a beautiful combination that you rarely see, air force combined with army. Dome of the tank can rotate 360 degrees and can be removed from the tank.
