This is the amazing story about spacedogs Belka and Strelka. Spacedog Leika was the first earth borne creature into space in 1957, but Belka and Strelka (and an unknown rabbit) were the first earth borne creatures to make it back alive in 1960 aboard Sputnik 5. Paving the way for Gagarins first human space flight.
Strelka went to have six puppies. One of the pups name was Pushinka and was presented to John F. Kennedy. A Cold War romance bloomed between Pushinka and a Kennedy dog named Charlie, resulting in the birth of four pups that JFK referred to jokingly as Pupniks. Pushinka’s descendants are still living today.
What an amazing dogs.
The clock was checked by a professional clock maker and runs very well. Very rare clock in this condition. A truly unique clock.
Great vintage crazy propaganda clock. This clock is from the 60’s en in very good shape as can been seen on the photos. The clock runs with no problems. On the clock itself we see people cheering at Mao who is above them like a god. Next to Mao there is a red flag with most likeley a quotation of Mao.
The woman on the down right side is holding the red book. Her arm waves every second with the book in her hand.
This is just a crazy propaganda piece wich will look good in any household. If you got something this extraordinairy in your house it certainly will be noticed.
