Cruise missile Martin MGM-1 Matador 1952. The Martin MGM-1 Matador was the first operational Surface-to-Surface missile designed and built by the United States. The first squadron was operational at the end of 1953, but only deployed in 1954 as the 1st Pilotless Bomber Squadron, Bitburg Air Base, Germany. By the late 1950s, all Matadors were carrying a nuclear warhead.
Model is made with a lot of passion from zinc metal. Everything is manual work even the pedestal.
After grinding sanding fillers etc., the color is sprayed and put in clear lacquer.
They are made on a scale from the original blueprints.
