Desktop made in the Soviet Union. This is an ornament in the form of a grenade from a cannon or tank. Not a real one and therefore no problem to own it or to send it. During the Cold War, Warsaw Pact era, senior officers from different countries visited each other. It was customary to bring a present. This is something like that. It says 1941-1945 and more text on the item which can not be translated by us. What makes it really special is that it is partly filled with earth. This could be blood-soaked soil from the battlefield, very gruesome but that’s how it used to be. Made of brass, beautiful patina, and wood. It is Hand made as a gift so unique.
